November 17, 2015 LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- HONK Technologies today unveiled Android app version 2.0 delivering a simplified experience of finding, ordering and paying for towing and roadside assistance. The latest version builds on the successful release of the app in November 2014 with an updated user interface and simplified navigation to connect drivers to more than 35,000 roadside partners nationwide.
The new Android experience centers on a GPS-enabled map, allowing drivers to better view their location and the status of service partners once help has been ordered. HONK Technologies representatives and key leaders will be on site at the Connected Car Expo Nov. 17 as well as the Los Angeles Auto Show (booth K-704) November 19-29.
“Building this version of the app involved a deep conversation with our customers and finding out what mattered most to them during a stressful breakdown,” said Jake Honig, Vice President of Product and Marketing at HONK Technologies. “The new app experience delivers a more transparent process -- giving the driver more information on what’s happening, when and why -- and delivering a calming experience in a typically chaotic moment.”
